Sumario:The cosmic muon charge ratio has been derived from the CERN proton accelerator results on the nucleon nucleus interactions after Stevenson. The primary cosmic ray spectrum of Olejniczak, Wdowczyk and Wolfendale has been used as the nucleon source. The structure function for p-Be interactions which allow the sufficient selection of random secondary particle after Trilling has been used in the calculations for charged pion and kaon productions. The estimated muon charge ratio due to pion contribution is 1.50 at the ISR energy region. This value increases to 2.20 when the kaon contribution to the muon flux has been considered. (0 refs).
