Sumario:A new extraction system for the transfer of protons between synchrotrons at CERN has necessitated the building of special high voltage pulse generators delivering two-step pulses. The maximum pulse power of each step is 100 MW in 15 ohm and is independently variable. The pulse length of each step, also independently variable, is 1.6+or-0.5 mu s. Pulse rise and fall times are about 30 ns. (2 refs).
