Sumario:Analysis of LHCb data will take place in a distributed manner. This means that physicists, who are not necessarily computing experts, should be able to access the Grid to run their analysis jobs. For LHCb, Ganga is the chosen front-end to the Grid aimed at analysis which will present physicists with a user friendly way of performing analysis on the Grid. Here we present a large set of use cases that Ganga should support in order for this to work. These use cases cover the complete lifetime of an analysis from developing the code to collecting the produced output from the final large scale analysis.
