Sumario: | The divergence structure of non-commutative gauge theories with a Slavnov extension is examined at one-loop level. As a result of such an extension the photon propagator shows a new transversality with respect to infrared divergent terms emerging from radiative one-loop self-energy corrections. We show that due to this extension, the IR divergences merely change their forefactor and remain gauge independent, but in addition new UV divergences appear. We then examine two explicit models with couplings to fermions and scalar fields. |
