| Sumario: | In this note we update and summarize the estimated particle rates in the LHCb muon detector. The calculation is done with a dedicated Geant simulation using a detailed geometrical description of detector and cavern and low energy thresholds. Particle rates with different configurations of the metal plugs around the beampipe have been considered and an analysis of the data flow through the high level trigger and the DAQ system has been performed. |
