Package of Equilibration Measures to the CERN Pension Fund: Proposal by the Governing Board and by the CERN Management

The 'Package of Equilibration Measures' proposed by the Governing Board (CERN/GB/136.2/Rev.) was discussed at TREF on 12 & 13 September 2005 and, together with related 'Additional Information' (CERN/GB/136.2/Add.), on 19 & 20 October 2005, in the presence of the Chairman of the Governing Board. Taking account of discussion at TREF, this document sets out the Management's proposal regarding the Package of Equilibration Measures to the CERN Pension Fund, which is hereby submitted to the Finance Committee for recommendation to the Council, and to the Council for approval. It is to be noted that the Management's proposal on the Package of Equilibration Measures also concerns the adjustment of pensions and salaries for 2006 (CERN/FC/4992-CERN/2636 & CERN/FC/4930/Rev.2 respectively).
