Recent results from DCI and elsewhere on vector meson production between 14 and 22 GeV

Sumario:The main problem in this energy range (1.4-2.2 GeV) is the possible existence of recurrences of the rho omega phi mesons. A recurrence of the rho , the rho '(1.6), is already established. Now a recurrence of the phi , named phi '(1.68), has been observed. Does it open a phi family, similar to the psi and tau families of vector mesons? The rho '(1.6) and phi '(1.68) could belong to a new 1^{-} nonet which could include also an omega ' and a K*'. Recent data in this energy range come from the DM1 experiment at DCI in e^{+}e^{-} annihilation and from WA4 and WA57 experiments at CERN in photoproduction.
