Sumario: | Discusses recent evidence, notably that from the 21st international conference on high-energy physics (Paris, 1982), which extends the experimental validity of the Glashow-Weinberg electroweak theory. Experimental tests at high-energy were provided by searches for the W and Z boson in e^{+}e^{-} annihilations at PETRA. Confirmation at low and medium energies is found in experiments at CERN, which measured the charge asymmetry of muon-nucleus reactions with Fe targets. |
