The p/sub T/-dependence of charm mesons produced in (pp) interactions at \sqrt{s}=62 GeV

The transverse-momentum distributions of the charm mesons, D^{0} and D^{+}, have been measured in high-energy (pp) collisions. The best fit to the data expressed in terms of exp(-bp/sub T/) gives for the exponent the value b=2.35+or-0.47, in excellent agreement with theoretical predictions.
