A very special scintillator counter for X rays of $p\bar{p}$ atoms
It was used by the CERN-Daresbury-Mainz TRIUMF Collaboration in the experiment S142. The cone slided close to a gaseous hydrogen target receiving a beam of antiprotons (CERN Courier of December 1975).
