EHN2, SPS experimental area (control rooms)
The toroidal muon spectrometer of experiment NA4 is here under construction in the North Experimental Hall EHN2. The magnetized torus had a diameter of 2.7 m and was made up of ten 5 m long units (shown before alignment). Once the units aligned, the torus enclosed a 60 m long carbon target,
