description The objective of this Colloquium was to gather practical ideas from all the actors in the particle physics publishing community (scientists, members of funding gencies, publishers ...) for an action plan to make the transition to full open access and low-cost publishing. As a result, the meeting decided to establish a task-force. The task-force was mandated to study and develop sustainable business models for OA publishing for existing and new journals and publishers in particle physics, focused mainly on a sponsoring model. The results should be made available to the Colloquium participants before end of March 2006.
