Sumario:The latest generation data acquisition systems for the CERN large particle physics detectors have set new demands on PCB production volume, performance, reliability and cost. The Cadence integrated high-speed PCB development products such as SPECCTRAquest, SigXplorer, Constraint Manager and SPECCTRA have been developed with the aim to help fulfil these requirements. This presentation highlights the challenges of introducing these tools into the traditional †ワtrial and error” PCB design flow.
