3rd LHC Project Workshop

The Third LHC Project Workshop. The workshop in 2006 was the third in the series devoted to the LHC Project and was composed of 10 sessions. The meeting was held in l'Esplanade in Divonne and used the InDiCo system to manage the presentations. The main themes of the workshop were "The minimum workable LHC" and the sector test and there were also sessions on installation, the experiment/machine interface, ions and magnets. In the final session on the Friday afternoon, outstanding issues were discussed and the decisions resulting from the week were recorded. Summaries of the sessions were presented in the main auditorium at CERN ten days after the workshop.
