Exotic physics in ATLAS

At the LHC, the program of research in particle physics is extremely rich. With the ATLAS detector, besides the SM Higgs search or SUSY mainstream studies, the implications of many other theoretical models are investigated. They range from compositeness of fundamental fermions to extra dimension scenarios through GUT models and include many variants. I shall review some selected typical studies by the ATLAS collaboration on exotic physics beyond the SM, highlighting the discovery prospects and the recent analyses using the latest full detector simulations.
