Measurement targets of the PS Booster

On the left is a vacuum pumping station, followed by a stack of multipole lenses. In the centre of the picture, i.e. in the middle of the long straight section, is a stack of measurement targets. Each of the four sets has a horizontal and a vertical plunging fork. The size of the beam is measured by destroying all particles with an amplitude exceeding the size of the fork.
