R607 at intersection I6, ISR

This experiment by the Amsterdam-Louvain-North Western Collaboration measured the correlations between mesons produced with high longitudinal momentum. It was installed at the ISR intersection I-6 following the removal of the 'lamp shade' and septum magnets of R606. The photo shows one of the two small-angle spectrometers, each consistimg of a septum magnet, 5 drift chamber modules, 2 Cerenkov counters and two scintillator hodoscopes. Lars Leistam sits on top of the magnet.
