Cryostat for a 2 litre polarized target
This target (world's largest) was meant for the muon scattering experiment NA2, then named NA9. It was prepared for use with NH3 in order to increase the amount or free hydrogen. Michel Rieubland (top, left), Tapio Niinikoski and Policella (bottom, centre and right).
