An Inclusive $\phi$ Stream for the LHCb High Level Trigger

An inclusive phi stream is proposed for LHCb's high level trigger. Particle identification information from the experiment's Ring Imaging Cherenkov detectors, and a number of other criteria, are used to control the rate at which minimum bias events are selected. This allows a number of interesting channels to be triggered, through a single stream, with comparable or better efficiency than the standard high level trigger algorithms which do not use particle identification information.
