Sumario:The main goal of ALICE (A Large Hadron Collider Experiment) is the study of heavy-ion collisions at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC). In addition to heavy systems, the ALICE physics programme also includes data taking with proton beams. This is primarily aimed at providing reference data for nucleusnucleus collisions, but at the same time allows for a number of genuine pp physics studies. An overview of the ALICE pp results is presented in this paper.
