Sumario:Heavy-quark resonances, produced in high-energy heavy-ion collisions, are important observables for the study of quantum chromodynamics at extreme energy densities. In this paper, the nuclear modification factor and elliptic flow of J/psi measured in the rapidity range (2.5 < y < 4) of ALICE have been presented for Pb-Pb collisions at s**(1/2)_NN = 2.76 TeV. The recent ALICE results on the J/psi nuclear modification factor in p-Pb collisions at s**(1/2)_NN = 5.02 TeV have also been discussed.
