Mass and Lifetime measurements at LHCb

The data collected at LHCb during the first run of the LHC are analysed to perform precision measurement of mass and lifetime of hadrons containing heavy quarks. I report here about recent mass measurements of the Ξ(0)c, Λ(0)b, Ξ(−)b, and Ω(−)b baryons, and of charged and neutral D mesons. Recent pr...

Sumario:The data collected at LHCb during the first run of the LHC are analysed to perform precision measurement of mass and lifetime of hadrons containing heavy quarks. I report here about recent mass measurements of the Ξ(0)c, Λ(0)b, Ξ(−)b, and Ω(−)b baryons, and of charged and neutral D mesons. Recent precision measurements of the lifetime of λ(0)b, Ξ(0)b and Ω(−)b baryons are also reported. I conclude this report with an overview on the experimental knowledge of the B(0)s,H, B(0)s,L, and B(0)s flavour specific effective lifetimes. LHCb has performed the world best measurements of most of these quantities.
