Sumario: | The search for new physics at the TeV scale is one of the major aspects of the CMS experimental program. This includes a myriad of theoretical models involving resonances that can decay to massive bosons, leptons or jets. An overview of such analyses is presented in this paper as well as the novel dedicated techniques related to the specificity of the event topologies. All analyses presented here use the full 2012 dataset, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of ∼ 20 fb(−)(1) recorded in proton-proton collisions at √s = 8 TeV with the CMS detector at the CERN LHC. |
