Sumario:The existence of dark matter in our universe is supported by many astrophysical observations and is one of the most compelling hints of new physics beyond the Standard Model, although there is not yet any direct evidence of darkmatter particles. The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) represents a powerful tool that can potentially discover dark matter through its direct production in proton-proton collisions. The aim of this article is to present the search for dark matter candidates in events with large missing transverse energy and one or more high energy jets collected with the CMS detector at LHC. Results obtained during Run1 with the 8TeV data and their interpretation are reported. In addition, prospects for the 13TeV analysis during Run2 and the discovery potential are also discussed.
