Many theorical models that include extensions of the fundamental symmetry of the Standard Model predict the existence of massive neutral vector bosons, generically called Z ′ . The search of Z ′ decaying into tau pairs is particulary interesting since in some models this bosons would be coupled preferentially to the third generation of the SM fermions. |
