Sumario: | Identifying a pulse which spans several sampling periods with only one of those sampling periods is a non-trivial problem which must be addressed in the context of level-1 triggering for the LHC. We have built and tested a single-channel bunch-crossing identification demonstrator which implements digital algorithms to extract such timing information. |
