Sumario: | The current status of electroweak measurements produced by the LEP experiments is reviewed. The Z-boson parameters are obtained from a fit to the LEP-1 lineshape data. Global fits have been performed using all LEP data plus recent measurements of the W boson and top quark masses from the Te vatron and data from SLD. These provide a de termination of parameters within the Standard Model such as the effective electroweak mixing angle and the Higgs boson mass. The Higgs mass is constrained to be below 215 GeV at the 95% confidence level. 3 |
