Sumario: | A fast digital integrator (FDI) has been designed at the European organization for nuclear research (CERN) for improving performance of state-of-art instruments for testing superconductive magnets in particle accelerators. In this paper, at first, the FDI architecture and the related main uncertainty sources are highlighted. Then, the numerical analysis of the instrument metrological performance is shown, by focusing both on deterministic errors and uncertainty effects, with the aim of addressing main design challenges. |
