Open heavy-flavour measurements in Pb-Pb collisions with ALICE at the LHC

The ALICE experiment has measured charm and beauty production in Pb–Pb collisions at $\sqrt{S_{\rm{NN}}}= 2.76 \text{ TeV}$ and $5.02 \text{ TeV}$, via the reconstruction of hadronic D-meson decays and semi-leptonic Dand B-meson decays. In this contribution, an overview is given on current open heav...

Sumario:The ALICE experiment has measured charm and beauty production in Pb–Pb collisions at $\sqrt{S_{\rm{NN}}}= 2.76 \text{ TeV}$ and $5.02 \text{ TeV}$, via the reconstruction of hadronic D-meson decays and semi-leptonic Dand B-meson decays. In this contribution, an overview is given on current open heavy-flavour results from ALICE ranging from the nuclear modification factor to elliptic flow measurements and on the interpretation of the data by comparing with different model calculations of in-medium energy loss.
