Sumario: | The single particle distributions were measured for two channels of e+ e!W+W events at 172 GeV where (a) both Ws decay hadronically and (b) where one W decays hadronically and the other one leptonically. The single particle distributions show an excess of charged particles at low xp, rapidity and transverse momentum in the fully hadronic decay channel compared to the mixed hadronic and leptonic decay channel. The correlation functions for like-sign and unlike-sign particle pairs were measured for fully hadronic and for mixed decay WW channels. The correlation strength for like-sign pairs measured in the mixed decay channel is in good agreement with the one measured from Z0 decays, and is considerably larger than the one measured in the fully hadronic WW dec |
