Sumario:Hadronic showers such as those collected in the Semi-Digital Hadronic CALorimeter (SDHCAL) include tracks produced by charged particles such as Minimum Ionising Particles (MIP). These tracks could be used as a tool to probe the behaviour of the SDHCAL active layers in situ. To extract these tracks the Hough Transform method is used in this work. The results of this study indicate clearly that the Hough Transform is highly efficient when it is applied after elimination of the hits belonging to the dense parts of the hadronic showers. The method is also applied to events simulated in the SDHCAL with different hadronic shower models and the results are compared to those obtained from data.
