Sumario:Lepton flavour universality tests are powerful probes of the Standard Model and, in turn, of New Physics effects. Many extensions of the Standard Model contain interactions that involve the third generation of leptons and quarks. Semileptonic and rare decays provide an excellent laboratory for testing lepton flavour universality. In these proceedings, a review of experimental tests of lepton flavour universality in B decays at LHCb is presented. The results were obtained with data collected by the LHCb detector in 2011 and 2012 at a centre of mass energy of 7 and 8 TeV.
