Dispersive systems, such as bunch compressors, can cause different chromatic aberrations, one of which yields transverse slice offsets. In this paper, we show a design approach to double-achromat bunch compressors which greatly reduces different chromatic aberrations and mitigates coherent synchrotron radiation effects.
