Some Theoretical Aspects of Quantum Electrodynamics

In this talk I want to restrict myself to topics I think are of most immediate interest to experimentalists. While there is interesting work going on at a more fundamental level in quantum electrodynamics, at the present time this work seems to be mainly concerned with the internal properties and consistency of the subject and it does not seem to have any immediate relevance to experiment. [...] The main part of my talk will be a presentation of some practical aspects of the radiative corrections and a review of the present situation in low energy quantum electrodynamics and its possible implications.
