Sumario: | Despite having an optimised design for b-physics, the LHCb spectrometer may beused as a general purpose detector in the forward region, covering thepseudorapidity $(η)$ range from 2 to 5. Its outstanding vertexing and particleidentification performances allow for an efficient tagging of heavy flavouredjets, and the separation of jets originating from $b$ and $c$ quarks. This documentsummarises the first Run 2 measurement of top pair production in the dileptonchannel at 13 TeV, along with a previous Run 1 result, where events with alepton and two $b$ or $c$-jets in the final state were analysed. All the cross-section measurements reported in this document are in agreement with predictionscalculated at next-to-leading order in perturbative QCD. |
