Implementation of metal 3D-printing in manufacturing navigation systems: the results of practical studies

Practical investigation results of metal 3D-printing of parts are presented. Surface roughness, dimensional repeatability, and porosity of produced specimens are measured. Machinability, tensile strength, as well as cost efficiency of parts are evaluated. Based on the obtained results, a conclusion...

Sumario:Practical investigation results of metal 3D-printing of parts are presented. Surface roughness, dimensional repeatability, and porosity of produced specimens are measured. Machinability, tensile strength, as well as cost efficiency of parts are evaluated. Based on the obtained results, a conclusion about implementation of metal 3D-printing in navigation systems manufacturing is made.
