description Bottomonia are important probes for the study of properties of the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP): they are produced at early times and then propagate in the strongly interacting medium of deconfined quarks and gluons. The CMS experiment is particularly well suited for the study of bottomonia in their dimuon final state. Measurements of bottomonium production are reported for the Y(1S), Y(2S), and Y(3S) mesons in pp, pPb and PbPb collisions at 5.02 TeV. The results are compared with theory models, which can help to improve and constrain the theoretical calculations.
