Spectroscopy of $B^+_c$ Mesons and $\Lambda^0_b$ Baryons in the CMS Experiment
The first observation of two excited states of the $B^{+}_{c}$ is presented together with the measurements of the $B_{c}(2S)^{+}$ mass and the mass difference $M(B_{c}^{\ast+})-M(B_{c}^{+})-[M(B_{c}(2S)^{\ast+})-M(B_{c}(2S)^{+})]$. Additionally, we present a study of $\Lambda^{0}_{b}$-baryon excited...

Sumario: | The first observation of two excited states of the $B^{+}_{c}$ is presented together with the measurements of the $B_{c}(2S)^{+}$ mass and the mass difference $M(B_{c}^{\ast+})-M(B_{c}^{+})-[M(B_{c}(2S)^{\ast+})-M(B_{c}(2S)^{+})]$. Additionally, we present a study of $\Lambda^{0}_{b}$-baryon excited states, namely, $\Lambda_{b}(5912)^{0}$, $\Lambda_{b}(5920)^{0}$, $\Lambda_{b}(6146)^{0}$, and $\Lambda_{b}(6152)^{0}$, decaying into $\Lambda^{0}_{b}\pi^{+}\pi^{-}$. The two analyses are carried out using the data collected in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the CMS experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about 140 fb${}^{-1}$. |
