The obtained signal yield of $\Xi _{b}^{ - } \to J{\text{/}}\psi {{\Xi }^{ - }}$ decay mode is more than 900 events, where $J{\text{/}}\psi \to {{\mu }^{ + }}{{\mu }^{ - }}$,${{\Xi }^{ - }} \to \Lambda {{\pi }^{ - }}$, $\Lambda \to p{{\pi }^{ - }}$. The measured mass of the $\Xi _{b}^{ - }$ baryon is in a good agreement with the world-average mass, and the results present the promising opportunity of beauty hadrons spectroscopy studies with the CMS detector. |
