Sumario:The GDG fabrication process developed at CNRSPIN is a promising method for producing Bi-2212 wires without overpressure processing. In this paper, critical current measurements performed at ENEA on both short and long samples in magnetic fields up to 14 T are compared. The results show no significant difference in $J_e$ between short and long (∼1 m) samples, and suggest very good longitudinal uniformity, validating the effectiveness and scalability of the process. In addition, the suitability of Inconel 625 for reaction and test barrels is demonstrated, and the reasons for obtaining lower than expected absolute Je values are discussed.
