Sumario:The ways of overcoming the problems caused by the specific asymmetry of the side lobes of the channels formed at the output of cylindrical antenna arrays with a horizontal generatrix, which are relevant for underwater robots, are considered. An algorithmic solution is proposed based on the use of adaptive signal power limitation for solving detection-direction finding problems in combination with non-adaptive reception or the diagonal loading Capon algorithm for assessing the spectral and correlation characteristics of strong signals.
