Sumario:This paper describes sustainable entrepreneurship in Baralt municipality’s SMEs with an integrated knowledge management perspective. This was done from the perspective of the theories of Davenport (2009), Carballo (2014), Acosta (2012) and Chen and Chen (2009), among others. The work is focused on the quantitative paradigm, using descriptive, transectional and field research. A sample consisting of 177 managers, who were queried using a self-administered questionnaire containing 45 items with Likert scaling, was taken. The results show that with an overall average of 4.03 points, traditional factors are always present as elements of the environment for sustainable entrepreneurship in Baralt municipality’s SMEs; therefore, it is considered important to incorporate them from knowledge management with a comprehensive perspective into business initiatives, since they foster learning for enterprises where their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats as a means of learning for better management and sustainability are evaluated.
