The written work of Efraím Hernández Xolocotzi: his heritage and legacy

This paper aims to analyze the work of Efraím Hernández Xolocotzi (ehx). It is part of a project to collect, digitize and upload to the internet the full text of his work, a task which coincided with the celebration of the centenary of his birth in 2013, commemorated in Chapingo, Mexico with various activities. The four hundred and twenty-five documents included here are the heritage of this institution as well as other national and international bodies. The thematic diversity of his work, the dates of its appearance, research teaching, the contributions of his work to ethno sciences, agronomy, anthropology and biology and finally,his legacy to new generations are emphasized. The study concludes with a bibliographic database to establish the relationships between subjects, co-authorship and textural processes in the documentary diversity that Dr. Efraím Hernández explored.
