In 2013, Argentina recognized the extension of political citizenship to a part of the adolescents who live in compulsory school. This extension of political rights is combined with a favourable structural framework that has been developing in the country for three decades. The field of study of this work is the ideological processes in the school institution. The research was developed from a qualitative approach. Among the results, a problem emerged that became relevant for the research, and that is the discomfort produced by the political party positions that occur in the school environment. The field research was carried out in a state-run secondary school in the province of Buenos Aires, Gran Buenos Aires sur, Argentina. Two hundred students and 18 teachers from different curricular areas and institutional positions participated.

Se presenta en este artículo la investigación realizada en el marco de la tesis de maestría[1], sobre los sentidos que otorgan docentes y estudiantes en edad de votar, de y en la escuela secundaria, al voto, al voto joven y al rol de la escuela. En el año 2013 se reconoció en Argentina la ampliación de la ciudadanía política a una parte de las adolescencias que habitan la escuela obligatoria. Esta extensión de derechos políticos se conjuga con un marco estructural favorable que se viene desarrollando hace tres décadas en el país. El campo de estudio de este trabajo son los procesos ideológicos en la institución escolar. La investigación se desarrolló desde un enfoque cualitativo y el diseño de trabajo fue un abordaje exploratorio-descriptivo. Entre los resultados surgió una problemática que se volvió relevante para la investigación, es el ruido producido por los posicionamientos políticos partidarios que suceden en el ámbito escolar. La indagación de campo se realizó en una escuela secundaria de gestión estatal de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Gran Buenos Aires sur, Argentina.
