El presente texto es un ensayo que aborda como eje nodal el impacto que las nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) tienen en la vida de los hombres, en especial, en los estudiantes. Se parte del argumento de que si bien las tecnologías proporcionan ventajas para los alumnos, ellos no las han sabido aprovechar eficientemente, y que por el contrario afectan negativamente sus estilos de vida. Así mismo, los profesores tampoco han sabido utilizarlas en las aulas. A lo largo del ensayo se presentan argumentos que permiten reflexionar y analizar más en el tema.
