Sumario:The Superior Normal School of Veracruz (ENSV) "Dr. Manuel Suárez Trujillo" is currently living a process of introspection and transformation to become a Higher Education Institution (IES). This paper presents a series of actions developed to strengthen the most urgent academic activities in the ENSV (educational research, didactic innovation and knowledge socialization, for example), where the learning communities are proving to be an important scenario to reformulate and articulate education.
