Este artículo tiene el objetivo de exponer los conceptos de desarrollo sustentable y política públicas para la vida digna. Como resultado a que son acciones a evaluar de manera conjunta, ya que son dependientes entre sí, el mejoramiento de uno implica progreso en el otro. Se concluye que, en el diseño y evaluación, como parte de las políticas públicas, se debe hacer uso de información enfocada en detectar las problemáticas para alcanzar una vida digna para el desarrollo sustentable.
