Este texto reflexiona sobre la visión del sujeto social desde la propuesta del enfoque teórico postestructuralista hasta su consolidación histórica con la perspectiva de la archivística. Relacionar los límites que establecen las ciencias sociales con los estudios sobre el individuo en sociedad, permitió dinamizar la categoría del sujeto, en la actualidad, como interlocutor de estructuras que se modifican según sus necesidades y usos de la información que finalmente, los conducen a registrar sus historias en documentos de archivo, situación que enmarca la profesión archivística.
