El objetivo de la presente investigación es demostrar que la aplicación de gamificación fortalece el aprendizaje significativo de la asignatura Matemática. La investigación mixta cuya población fueron los estudiantes de bachillerato de la ciudad de Guayaquil. Los datos se recolectaron mediante un cuestionario de Google Forms. Sobre el conocimiento de Gamificación, se encontró que hay estudiantes que manejan la estrategia sin conocer sus fundamentos teóricos, hay estudiantes que tienen poco conocimiento y hay quienes solo se enteraron de la técnica.
