Sumario:Education in Colombia and the entire world faces this great challenge of overcoming the barriers that Covid-19 has imposed on it. Given the difficulties of returning to the classroom in a near time, and due to the blows, that it has given in different latitudes and in various sectors of society, it could be said that this virus is here to stay. As teachers and active participants in the education sector, our challenge is to investigate and document our close surroundings, in a way that serves as a reflection for others. The strategies that the educational institution "Colegio Departamental La Esperanza de Villavicencio-Meta" is carrying out to assume the changes around the remote education situation are shared, exposing the results obtained and the difficulties presented. In such a way that in the "near" future, ICT will really be part of the curriculum and not just an occasional help, as it has been up to now, to a greater or lesser extent according to each institution.
